day one of 2007

at the end of 2005, i never dreamt i'd lead my life the way i did in 2006. or shd i say, i never expected the way my life led me. i thank my lucky stars for the wonderful events that took place and count my blessings for the new people who entered my life (: as well as the awesome people who stayed.

standing at the start of 2007, i hope everything falls into place nicely.

anyhow, i must have been the most unhappening person on new year's eve. took the chance to compensate the sleep i've been deprived of. i think i slept more than i did in the past three days combined. not that i have any complaints. haha.

as for trg, it's a good feeling to be back on waters. experimented the new k2 with yt ytd :D very luxurious. glad to conclude the year on a purposeful note. the blisters on my fingers and my slightly bruised feet reminds me of the pleasure derived from the pain of this sport. mmm. looking forward to fair weathers ahead! (plus team lunch & pull-up bar dates!)

at home, things have been qte stormy but i'm glad the worst is over. some time this week i was doing grocery-shopping with my mum at the new ntuc hypermart in amk and my mum lamented,"haiyo, singaporeans ah, always like that one. when new store open everybody will go and join the crowd. why is it that when the store dont open then nobody goes?" a very intelligent question indeed. my mummy can be qte an interesting character. that is, when she isnt breathing down my neck. speaking of which, yt, mel, yihang and i agreed over kaya toast ytd that adults can be really childish at times. this of course, must never reach my parents' ears.

sipping coffee, listening to to a repeat broadcast of top100 on 98.7fm. i really shd get in touch with my sch stationery, though hols hw is a lost cause. but the song that just played sent a chill down my spine. it's too much of a coincidence, to hear my theme song of the year as i'm doing this little reflection. let's just say that the singer is a certain hotel heiress and the song lyrics revolve around urm, crazy gods and blind stars.

oh and i owe alot of catching up sessions. my new calendar looks clean and fresh for now. bring it on!
